Thanks again for a brilliant course on the 6th October (Career and Personal Development Workshop).

You might remember that I was going for a job interview that Friday for a job in Wales….I thought you might like to know that I was offered the job and at this point its looking very positive as far as accepting it is concerned!! Still a few contractual matters to clear up first.

‘I have found the Leadership Training absolutely invaluable and would recommend it to everyone.

I’ve undertaken a fair amount of management training over the years but never found that it met my needs. It always seemed to deal with the mechanics of management without really examining or sufficiently valuing the less tangible aspects of management psychology, particularly motivation and leadership.

This approach concentrates on individual personal development and is very simple once you’ve understood it. It has enormously reduced my stress levels and enabled me to manage situations and tasks that I would have previously found very much more difficult.

Jackie's leadership course was a life changing experience for me, back in 2002 I found myself in a managerial role with a reputable and well established company, as part of the personnel development programme I was expected to attend a leadership course.

My initial reaction was I don't need this, I have been leading teams for years, what can she teach me. I reluctantly attended, and thank goodness I did!

The course is so much more than the name suggests and equipped me with essential tools to make life changing decisions and most notably believe in my abilities and that extra confidence to make things happen.

Jackie had helped me to identify goals and routes to getting there, I soon began to notice that people were starting to react differently to me at work and at home, my branch were now pulling together and hitting targets.

In 2004 I decided it was time to make a break from the industry I had always known - recruitment and started a business on my own. This was completely new territory in a sector I had no experience in, I set up my company and now employ people across 3 continents and my product is sold in nearly all major supermarkets in the UK and we are currently working on International distribution agreements.

This is a dream I would never of imagined previously and I do honestly believe that Jackie's course was the catalyst to getting me where I am today.

Jackie Michael has been providing presentation training for Camden Council since August 2005 to present. We have also commissioned her to undertake both a women's empowerment course and diversity training for our summer programme.
